We are pleased to announce the release of SETpro’s new IC1 Pro and IC2 Pro tools (Climate Pro) to support OSFI and the AMF’s IC1 and IC2 Climate Risk Returns (CRR) due at the end of June 2026, now available on the secure SETpro website.
These tools are being released as a Beta version, and all insurance clients of SETpro will have full access at no additional cost for this filing cycle. This provides an opportunity to explore the Climate Pro tools and determine whether they can support your reporting process.
As you begin using the tools, your feedback will play an important role in shaping future enhancements. We will connect with you ahead of the next renewal period to assess whether Climate Pro aligns with your organization’s needs.
SETpro has developed the IC1 and IC2 Pro tools based on the official technical specifications and guidance issued by OSFI and the AMF.
The Climate Pro tools bring together key requirements, instructions, and reference materials within a single solution. In addition, a custom menu and data structure validations are included to help streamline the data input process and support the creation of compliant CSV files.
In June 2026, ahead of the June 30 filing deadline, SETpro will release an Insurance Climate CSV Validation Tool: IC Validator Pro.
This tool will be available to all filers—including those using the Climate Pro tools as well as those generating IC1 and IC2 CSV files through other (non-SETpro) solutions. Its purpose is to support the broader market by helping ensure compliance of all IC1 and IC2 CSV submissions.
The tool will allow you to validate your CSV files against OSFI and AMF structural requirements prior to submission, helping identify issues early and reduce the need for rework.
We are currently awaiting final confirmation on certain structural validation rules, and these will be incorporated into the tool once finalized.
