2025 Interim Version C Release
We've released a new version of the interim PC Pro (Version C) with a few enhancements.
This update includes a few adjustments to improve functionality and user experience but does not include any updates to validation rules or content of the regulatory returns.
What’s new in Version C:
- Decimal Handling: We've updated the decimal values in the ASCII files submitted to regulators from five decimals to two. This change was requested by the Ontario Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) to meet their system requirements.
- Custom Menu for Ontario Farm Mutuals: A new, dedicated custom menu is now available for Ontario Farm Mutual insurers (OMIA). This menu provides streamlined access to features relevant to OMIA insurers and is only visible to them.
- Improved Data Format Validation: The code for data format validation has been updated for better efficiency.
- User Selection Form: The order of selections in the User Selection Form has been slightly adjusted to improve readability and presentation.
Important Notes on Using Version C:
- Who Must Use Version C: If you submit ASCII files to the Ontario Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) or you are an OMIA filer, you must use Version C to ensure your data files have the correct number of decimals and the OMIA custom menu is available.
- Who Can Continue Using Version B: If you do not submit ASCII files to the Ontario FSRA, you may continue to use Version B.
