2025 Interim Version B & Fix A-B Release
PC Pro 2025 Interim Version B is now available for download on the SETpro website. This release includes new non-OSFI validations in the PC4 Errors tab to ensure compliance with the MCT Guideline and some format changes.
We advise users to start fresh with the full Version B package, however, all of the changes included in SETpro’s Q2 Interim Version B package will also be available in the format of a Fix file (PC Pro 2025 Interim – Fix A-B).
The Fix file should be used to apply the updates listed below to an in-progress working file that has been started using the previously posted Version A. Fix A-B file will automatically apply all Version B updates to your Version A working file. For detailed instructions on applying the fix, please see page 31 of the User Guide.

General Enhancements:
- Data Format Validation explanation of results: We've enhanced the description of the validation and explanation of the results for the new Data Format Validation. If users have any errors requiring attention, these updates will aide you in making your corrections.
- Minor formatting update on page 50.40: We have removed the 0 input in protected row 25.
- MCT 2010: English and French text in the Common Shares section has been updated to improve clarity.
- Updated company listing in the User Selection Form: Version B’s company listing now includes newly updated company names that have been previously communicated to Pro team.
Key Updates:
PC Pro 2025 Interim Version B and Fix A-B:
- We've enhanced the MCT Errors tab with a few new non-OSFI validation rules. These validations are warnings to filers when limits within the guideline are exceeded. The warnings added address the following:
- 30% Letter of Credit limit: The warning will help filers to quickly determine if the use of Letters of Credit falls within the 30% limit, as per section 4.3.3.4 of the MCT guideline. A warning will be issued if the limit is breached.
- Capital composition limits: These warnings identify whether the sum of Category B and Category C capital exceeds 40% of Capital Available and if Category C capital alone exceeds 7% of Capital Available, as stipulated by Section 2.2 of the MCT guideline. A warning will be issued if either limit is breached.
2025 KMR OP Pro:
- We have thoroughly reviewed the current KMR OP return. Our testing has confirmed that there have been no changes to the requirements since the previous period. The new 2025 KMR OP Pro package is now available for download on the SETpro website.
