LICAT-LIMAT-ESCAP Pro 2025 Interim Version D Release

We've released LICAT-LIMAT-ESCAP Pro2025 Interim Version D, which is now available on the SETpro secure website. This version includes updates designed to enhance functionality, improve user experience, and align with upcoming 2025 requirements.

Please note there were no changes to the Life Pro 2025 Interim Version B package released in Q2, so you should continue to use that version for your Q3 reporting.

What's new in version D:

• ‍Updated LCA for 2025 Changes: The package now includes an updated LCA (Life Capital Annual return) with pages and validations that align with the 2025 LCA requirements. This is particularly helpful for filers who use these pages to assist with their quarterly LCQ(Life Capital Quarterly return) filings.

• ‍Improved Special Excel File Functionality: Often companies hide and unhide pages of the LICAT return to support their input process. Historically, this caused a problem when creating the Special Excel File. We've updated the code for the Special Excel File to prevent error messages when tabs are hidden or unhidden. This ensures the file is created as required, without delay.

• Minor Code Update: A small code update was made to the Data Format Validation to improve its performance.

Note: If you do not use the LCA pages to support your quarterly reporting, you can continue to use Version C (released in Q2), as there were no changes to the LCQ or its related validations in this new release.
